Kabhi socha hai, hazaaron saal pehle, jab TV nahi tha, newspaper nahi tha, tab gaon-gaon, shehar-shehar kaise chalta tha? Hum sab raja aur raniyon ki kahaniyan sunte hain, lekin kya aapko pata hai, raniyan sirf mahal mein baith kar haar nahi bunti thi. Unhone neeti banayi, sena chalaayi aur apne logon ki raksha bhi ki. Aaj hum dekhenge ki kaise ‘women in traditional governance’ Bharat ki dharohar ka ek important hissa thi.

‘Traditional governance’ ka matlab hai woh system jismein rules aur decisions bade-bujurg, samaj ke log aur leaders milkar banate hain. Dharohar Aur Pehchan: Aaj Ke Bharat Mein

Aaj bhi, hamare desh mein auraton ko panchayat mein, local governance mein hissa lete hue dekhte hain.
